Each half-scale tractor takes me about a year to build, not including time looking for parts. I usually have at least two tractors in progress at once.

John Deere Model L

The L was my first running half scale model, built with a 5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine and Crosley transmission. I cut down a Datson rear-end and built drop boxes. The frame and body is hand-built.

John Deere Styled D

8 hp Kohler engine, 4-speed transmission and John Deere 200 transaxle. The frame, body and wheels are all hand-built.

John Deere 830

I used a 10 hp Kohler engine and John Deere 200 transaxle. The frame and body are handmade. The wheels are also hand-built to represent the real ones.

W9 McCormick Deering

This tractor was built on commission using a 4-cylinder Datson car engine and a Cub Cadet transaxle. The body, grill, hood and wheels are all hand-built to look like the real ones.

John Deere 730

An 8 hp Kohler engine and John Deere 200 transaxle were used in this tractor. All the frame and body parts are handmade. The rims were hand-built to represent the real ones.

6 hp Kohler Command engine, 3-speed transmission and John Deere 200 transaxle. The frame, body and wheels are hand-built.

3 cylinder Yanmar diesel engine and John Deere 300 hydrostatic transaxle. The frame, body and wheels are all hand-built.
